Mom's US fashion Trends

My mom wanted to contribute to the Institute, and this is what she came up with. After a trip to the States, she reports back on the latest fashions (click on pics for bigger images):

1. citrus colors of lime, orange, and yellow (clothing and
furnishings)

2. wedge shoes are back in...cork and wood soles.

3. peasant blouses, swirly, country skirts

4. strings of brightly colored beads, like in the 80s

5. clean, spare lines in home furnishings. Modern, slick, minimal
(think IKEA furnishings. Victorian is out, sadly.)
